Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance supported charity exhibition of children's art
The Ukraine Rebuilding Alliance helped raise funds for the medical needs of Ukraine's defenders and gave talented young Ukrainians the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity at the Children Saving Lives charity exhibition and sale.
According to the Alliance's press service, the initiative was aimed at raising funds to purchase a batch of tourniquets for use by Ukrainian medics in the field. The idea of the exhibition-auction was proposed by Mykola Kutsak, a member of the Alliance's board.
"I constantly see Ukrainian children trying to help Ukraine's defenders by selling their art - drawings, handicrafts, some even make sweets with their own hands. My daughter is also involved in this small but very important charity, and I decided that if young artists join forces, together we can do a really great good deed," says Mykola Kutsak.
As part of the charity exhibition and auction, more than 50 paintings by young artists found new owners. All the money was immediately transferred to the Monster Corporation Foundation and used to purchase turnstiles.
"Children see the world differently, it is simpler and clearer for them. They see that this world would be better without the war. That our brave soldiers fighting for our freedom and well-being do not deserve to die from bullets and shrapnel. These children are already saving lives, and I am sure that in the future they will build a new, better reality, as bright as their creativity," emphasized the Chairman of the Board of the Alliance for the Restoration of Ukraine, Professor Yuriy Maslov.
