The FICT Hub restarts its work with online and offline formats - NGO "IT Education Development"
With the partner's support, the FICT Hub resumes its work in online and offline formats. So it is stated in the video published on the non-governmental organization "Development of IT Education" website. The restart of the Hub resulted from the joint efforts of Ukrainian patrons, IT companies, and the team of the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Technologies of KPI team named after Sikorsky for the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
"During these difficult months that we have experienced, we did not stop with all our efforts to run the Hub and plan its future, the construction of the robotodrome, the development of science and robotics in the country. Together with our partners, we continued to receive all the planned resources: furniture, materials, equipment and much more," said the Deputy Dean of FICT KPI, named after Sikorskyi and coordinator of the FIСT Hub Olena Halus.
She also added that the work is carried out taking into account the military realities in which our country. Therefore, there is limited safe storage on the territory of the building in case of an air raid.
"One of the tasks of the Ministry of Digital Affairs is to turn Ukraine into the largest IT Hub in Europe and become a successful IT nation. We have everything for this, including very talented people. Such projects as the FICT Hub help us continue to develop and prove to the world that Ukrainians are the best," said Diana Rakus, Head of the expert group on investment attraction and Head of education at the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
On the premises of the Hub, students, teachers, and representatives of Ukrainian technology companies will start holding various offline and online educational events and lectures in the near future.
"As a graduate of FICT KPI, I understand how to ensure that students get practical experience in combination with learning, and as a representative of business - how important it is today to invest in infrastructure for students, for the future of our country," concluded the entrepreneur and philanthropist, co-founder of the NGO "IT Education Development" Anatoly Boyko.
The restart of the FICT Hub was supported by numerous top Ukrainian companies, including Netcracker, Genesis, Tolk Group of Companies, DataArt, Infopulse, GlobalLogic, USF, CISCO, EPAM, LeverX and Novikova Agency.
Notice: the NGO "IT Education Development" was created in April 2021. The main goal of the organization is the sustainable development of IT education in Ukraine through the creation of the best conditions for the development of high-quality and practical education in Ukraine, an effective model of interaction between teachers, students and business, the implementation of an innovative model for the development of universities and their divisions, as well as reducing the outflow of talented students abroad.
