Ambassador Korniychuk is concerned about the impact of the Russian invasion on Ukrainian science and education

The impact of the full-scale Russian invasion on education and science in Ukraine was the subject of a meeting between the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk and the president of the Weizmann Institute of Science (Rehovot) Prof.Alon Chen. This is reported on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Ukraine to the State of Israel.

«There was a fruitful meeting. The parties expressed deep concerns about the current impact of the Russian invasion in Ukraine on education and science in our country», - the message reads.

The ambassador also thanked the interlocutor for the support of Ukrainian students who were able to continue their scientific research at the Weizmann Institute.
