Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy: I am looking forward to the start of the championship of the Ukrainian Premier League

 

Honorary president of the Rukh (Lviv) football club, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, shared his thoughts on the start of the new season.

– With great joy, I read the information from the Minister of Sports, Vadym Huttsait, that the start of the new championship is scheduled for August 23. First, we already have specifics. Secondly, this date is very symbolic because Ukrainian football will return to the stadiums on the birthday of the Ukrainian flag and the eve of Independence Day. In this way, our football community and the whole country demonstrate our perseverance and steadfastness to everyone. Despite all Russia’s attempts to destroy us, Ukraine was, is, and will be. And all this is thanks to our soldiers’ heroism and their exploits. A low bow to everyone, because thanks to them, we continue to make plans for the future, including restoring sports life in Ukraine.

Yes, it will be a difficult season, but at the same time, a special one. Our football players will play in Ukraine, which is the only correct decision. In this way, the clubs will demonstrate unity with the Ukrainian people. Unfortunately, there will be no fans in the stadiums; however, it is necessary to do everything possible so that Ukrainians can watch the matches on television or the Internet. We have a lot of pleasant bustles ahead. I am looking forward to the start of the championship of the Ukrainian Premier League.
