A project with audio stories from people experiencing war in Ukraine has started

On the 211Steps platform, the information project "History of War in Ukraine" was launched - a revelation of real people whose lives were divided before and after the war.      

The 211Steps mobile app https://steps.211floor.com/en  has free access to stories of war victims who have lost their families, homes, friends and even hope to return home someday. How does the one who puts a machine gun in his back feel? What does the child whose mother has just been killed think about? What is it like to wake up not from an alarm clock, but from an explosion next door?

These stories have been specially translated into English and read in audio podcast format so that everyone around the world can hear the truth firsthand. The truth that will not be broadcast by the news - because the media are used to talking about large-scale, global. But our peace, our freedom, our tomorrow begins in private conversations and personal appeals of ordinary people. Because what is this world worth if there is no place for the future of the child in it? What is life worth if it cannot stop death?

Currently, the platform has collected 4 stories of people from different parts of Ukraine who managed to escape the shelling. Each of them experienced their own hell. Each of them lost his home. And no one knows if he will get it back.

Stories were collected through acquaintances and their acquaintances. It is amazing how Ukraine at this time has become one big family, where everyone knows each other.

We continue to collect stories. They will be constantly updated. After all, hundreds and thousands of them are people who survived, survived and are ready to live on.

We want these stories to be heard by the whole world, so we are looking for ways to spread them further and further beyond Ukraine.
