Ukrainian Red Cross Society continues to provide aid to flood victims affected by after Kakhovka HPP destruction

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) continues to work in Kherson region and provide assistance to as many people as possible who suffered as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) by Russian invaders.
"We continue to provide humanitarian assistance in the most dangerous settlements of the region and transport people from medical institutions to evacuation trains to other cities, where they can receive further treatment and professional assistance," the URCS said on its Facebook page.
Volunteers of the URCS are also on duty at the railway stations to provide first aid and psychological assistance if necessary.
Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society evacuated 243 people from the flood zone, most of them with limited mobility and could not have escaped on their own.
