Invaders concentrate actions in south to deprive Ukraine of access to seas – AFU General Staff

Russia-occupation troops continue their offensive operation against Ukraine and, despite losses in personnel and equipment, with the support of aviation, concentrated their efforts on an attempt to cordon off the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and at the exit to the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as to create a land corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
"The invaders have focused on active operations in the southern regions, in order to deprive Ukraine of access to the Black and Azov Seas. The invaders have used up almost all the main reserves and are preparing to send additional units from the eastern, central and western military districts," according to a report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 12.00 on Sunday.
The grouping of defense forces continues to conduct a defensive operation in Donetsk, Slobozhanske and partially Tavriysk operational areas. The grouping of the Joint Forces is carrying out a defensive operation in Donetsk direction. In Slobozhanske direction, the mechanized units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defending Kharkiv and Akhtyrka, and the defense of Chernihiv is also continuing. The grouping of forces and means of defense of Kyiv continues to steadily hold certain lines and fight in order to hold important areas of defense in threatening directions.
In other directions, a stabilization operation is being carried out as well as tasks of territorial defense.
The grouping of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repels air-missile strikes and means of air attack of the enemy, focuses its efforts on air defense of important (critical) objects of Ukraine and groupings of troops, the report says.
