Tymoshenko says Poroshenko, pro-Russia forces are her main opponents in presidential election

Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has said she considers pro-Russian forces, as well as incumbent Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his entourage, to be her main opponents in the upcoming presidential election.

"Who will be my main opponent as a presidential candidate in the presidential election? First, of course, these are all the forces that will be put up by the Russia, the aggressor country," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

"There is also a second enemy who today also destroys Ukraine. This is an entire corruption chain led by the incumbent president, who has already been destroying Ukraine for four-and-a-half years, robbing the country and setting tariffs on which they build their corrupt deals [...] This system will also be my enemy," the politician said.

At the same time, when asked about her relations with the head of the Ukrainian Choice public movement, Viktor Medvedchuk, Tymoshenko said that she had never worked and would not ever work with Medvedchuk.
