The English Court of Appeals has demanded that Russia returns court expenses in proceedings regarding debt on Russian eurobonds earlier paid by Ukraine to Ukraine before November 9, 2018, the press service of Ukraine's Finance Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.

As reported, Ukraine in September 2017 paid a portion of Russia's court expenses in proceedings regarding debt on Russian eurobonds the country bought, fulfilling the decision of the London court hearing the case.

The Law Debenture Corporation, which represents the client or trustee interests of Russia as the single owner of Ukrainian debt with a nominal value of $3 billion, confirmed that it has received a payment of 1.16 million pounds sterling from Ukraine.
