Kyiv reports 1 wounded serviceman amid 25 enemy attacks in past 24 hours

Russia's hybrid military forces have attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 25 times in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters has reported.

"Over the past day, 25 violations of the ceasefire regime by the invaders were recorded along the entire contact line. In response, Ukrainian servicemen suppressed the enemy's fire activity from grenade launchers and small arms. As a result of enemy shelling, one of our military men has been injured," the ATO staff said on Facebook on Friday morning.

The press center noted that illegal armed groups continue firing on Ukrainian positions, in particular, with the help of weapons, prohibited by Minsk agreements.

The Luhansk sector remained the epicenter of armed instability. Here, the enemy fired mortars of various types, grenade launchers, and small arms near the villages of Troyitske and Luhanske. After dark, a few mines from banned mortars were launched by the Russian-backed mercenaries near the villages of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Krymske and Novoluhanske. The enemy also provoked Ukrainian troops near the village of Zaitseve and Syze, using small arms, while the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Lozove and Luhanske came under fire from infantry fighting vehicles.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants were also active in the evening hours. In particular, in the Mariupol sector, the occupiers fired 120mm mortars and small arms near the village of Pavlopil.

Moreover, the invaders intensively employed grenade launchers and light infantry weapons against the Ukrainian fortified positions near the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, and the villages of Kamianka and Pisky. Moreover, the defenders of the village of Bohdanivka were attacked with small arms.
