Court orders PGO to investigate Saakashvili's privacy violation

Kyiv's Pechersky District Court has ordered the Kyiv city prosecutor's office to start the investigation into the criminal proceedings against the member from Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction Volodymyr Ariev who violated the privacy of ex-head of Odesa Regional State Administration and former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
Saakashvili wrote about this on his Facebook page on Friday. The leader of the New Forces Movement party Saakashvili said that in summer Ariev published a form with his personal data on Facebook, in particular, the residential address and the telephone number.
"Immediately after the disclosure of private information, the lawyer filed a motion with the prosecutor's office to open a criminal trial against the MP. The prosecutor's office of the city of Kyiv refused to open the case. Today, the refusal was appealed in court, where the decision was made to "Oblige authorized representatives of the Kyiv city prosecutor's office to make entry into the Unified Register of Pretrial investigations ... on the commission of a criminal offense and start a pretrial investigation," Saakashvili said.
The politician published a photocopy of the court decision on his Facebook page.
