Solidarity Party reports convincing victory in more than half of territorial communities

The Bloc of Petro Poroshenko's Solidarity Party has reported a convincing victory in the elections to united territorial communities, with its candidates winning the elections in more than half of the communities, the party's press service has reported.

"The Bloc of Petro Poroshenko's Solidarity Party wins the elections to united territorial communities. According to the results of the parallel vote count conducted by the party headquarters, 108 winners, or 53.73%, for the posts of heads of UTCs are nominees, party members or candidates who were supported by the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko's Solidarity Party," the report says.

Party candidates won the elections to united territorial communities in 16 towns, 30 settlements and 62 villages.

According to the party's preliminary data, candidates from Batkivschyna Party are in the lead in ten UTCs, Agrarian Party in five UTCs, Nash Krai Party in five UTCs, For Concrete Deeds in three UTCs, and Ukrop, Radical Party and People's Power each in one UTC.

In addition, the Solidarity Party showed a 100% result in Donetsk region. Its candidates won the elections in both UTCs, where the first elections took place.

Based on the data received, candidates from the Solidarity Party will take charge of 17 UTCs in Dnipropetrovsk region, 12 in Volyn region, eight in Cherkasy region, seven in Vinnytsia region, seven in Kharkiv region, seven in Ivano-Frankivsk region, and seven in Lviv region.

The Solidarity Party also won a victory in the elections of deputies of newly created united communities. With half of the ballots counted, the party received at least 600 deputy seats.

The results of other parties are following: Batkivschyna - 520, Agrarian Party - 221, Nash Krai - 102, Radical Party - 93, Ukrop – 154, Opposition Bloc – 25, Svoboda - 58, Samopomich - 63, Vidrodzhennia – 22, People's Front – 22, and 725 self-nominees. In general, a total of 4,506 deputies of united territorial communities were elected in the October 29 elections.
