Poroshenko not going to discuss Saakashvili's extradition in Tbilisi

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said he did not receive demands for the extradition of Mikhail Saakashvili from the Georgian authorities.
"We have effective communication with the Georgian government, but we did not receive demands for Saakashvili's extradition, so we do not consider this issue," Poroshenko said at a briefing in Tbilisi on Tuesday.
Answering the question whether it is possible to discuss this issue during his meetings in Tbilisi, Poroshenko said he had nothing to say about this without the demand of the Georgian side.
In Georgia, several criminal cases were opened against former President Saakashvili on charges of embezzlement of public funds and abuse of authority. According to the court's decision, if Saakashvili appears in Georgia he should be arrested.
