Ukrainian, Polish defense enterprise could create new JV – NSDC secretary

Ukrainian and Polish defense and industrial enterprises could create new joint ventures (JV), Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov has said.

"I am sure that we will be able to raise the bar [for cooperation], create new joint ventures and joint projects that would help to increase Poland and Ukraine's defense," he said after a meeting with Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Pawel Soloch in Kyiv on Monday.

He said that at present defense enterprises of the two countries are cooperating in designing new types of weapons and equipment.
