Poroshenko to address 71st session of UN General Assembly on Sept 21

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko plans to address the 71st session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 21, according to the UN.
Poroshenko will be on a visit to the United States on September 20-22, Interfax-Ukraine has learned.
During the visit, Poroshenko is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with foreign leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly event. Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin has already confirmed a meeting between Poroshenko and U.S. President Barack Obama.
Poroshenko also endorsed members of the Ukrainian delegation who will attend the UN General Assembly session.
The delegation is comprised of Minister Klimkin, Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko, head of the ad hoc group for ensuring Ukraine's membership in the UN Security Council in 2016-2017 Oleh Herasymenko, head of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs Hanna Hopko, and presidential envoy for the Crimean Tatar people, Member of Parliament Mustafa Jemilev.
The 71st session of the UN General Assembly opened on September 13.
