Turkish president invites Poroshenko to visit Turkey in 2016

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has had a telephone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and congratulated him on the victory of his Justice and Development Party at the Turkish parliamentary elections on November 1, 2015.
In turn, Erdogan invited the Ukrainian president to visit Turkey in 2016.
The president's press service reported that both leaders discussed how to develop the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Turkey, particularly on implementing the agreements reached during the last session of the High Level Interstate Strategic Council in March 2015 in Kyiv.
The presidents discussed the consolidation of efforts in confronting the foreign challenges and threats faced by the two countries
Poroshenko thanked Erdogan for his support of Ukraine's territorial integrity, who emphasized that Turkey will continue to facilitate the restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine through diplomacy.
He has reiterated that Turkey does not recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea, and thanked Poroshenko for the attention he has paid to the human rights of Crimean Tatars.
The parties highlighted the unacceptable nature of the oppression of the Crimean Tatars by the Russian authorities in Crimea, and agreed to continue to continue working to defend their human rights.
Poroshenko and Erdogan also agreed to coordinate their efforts on the upcoming G20 Summit that will take place on November 15-16 in Antalya, Turkey.
