EU information center opened in Mariupol – Donetsk regional administration

A European Union (EU) information center has been opened at Mariupol State University, the press service of the Donetsk regional military-civil administration has reported.
The opening ceremony was attended by Head of the Donetsk regional military-civil administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski, and the Cypriot, Czech, French and Greek ambassadors.
At present, 19 EU information centers are open in Ukraine. The centers are located in higher educational institutions in 16 cities in the country: Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lutsk, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Odesa, Donetsk, Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia and Lviv.
The centers are a major source of information about the EU and its policy, European integration, EU-Ukraine relations, presentations of education opportunities for Ukrainians etc.
