Finance ministry plans to meet investors to discuss debt restructuring on Oct 5 - London, on Oct 6 -New York
Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko will hold three presentations for investors on Ukraine's debt restructuring: a webcast on October 2 in Kyiv, and two meetings and two webcasts on October 2 in London, and on October 6 in New York.
The ministry said on its website that the webcast on October 2 will take place at 10:00 am Kyiv time (8:00 am London time /3:00 pm Hong Kong time); the meeting in London will be held at 3:00 pm London time (10:00 am New York time) and in New York – at 2:30 pm New York time (7:30 pm London time).
As reported, on August 27 the Ukrainian government announced that an agreement on the exchange of $18 billion of debt was reached with the Ad Hoc Committee of Creditors which will result in the reduction of the principal of the debt by 20% and postponement of payments on the principal of the debt for four years, and the issue of 20-year value recovery instruments (VRI) pegged to the GDP pace.
