Russian airlines led by Aeroflot come under Ukrainian sanctions

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko by a September 16 decree enforced a resolution of the National Security and Defense Council dated September 2, 2015, on the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) which applies to several Russian airlines, including Aeroflot.

"The restriction, the partial or full termination of transit of resources, flights and transportation on the territory of Ukraine," this is the sanction applied to them by September 16 decree of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko No. 549/2015 enforcing resolution of the National Security and Defense Council dated September 2, 2015, on the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).

The similar sanctions have been imposed on Russian state airlines: The 224th Flight Unit, VIM-Avia, Gazprom-Avia, Donavia, Kogalymavia, Orenburg Airlines, Polet, Red Wings, Rossiya Airlines, RusJet, RusLine, S7 Airlines, Transaero, Ural Airlines, Yakutia Airlines, Yamal, etc.
