EBRD will consider issue of funds for gas purchases by Naftogaz on Sept 30

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on September 30 will consider issuing funds for gas purchases by NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko has told reporters.

"Gas purchases for Naftogaz Ukrainy," she said, specifying the purpose of funds.

According to her, the World Bank will also consider the issue, but at a later date.

Jaresko added that Ukraine is constantly discussing the issue of funds being allocated by international financial institutions for gas purchases.

"We are talking continuously with our partners," she said.
