Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Hrytsak has said that the SBU knows where 195 training camps for Russian soldiers preparing to go to Donbas are located.
"The training of staff of the Russian-occupation forces is carried out in training camps located both in the occupied territories of Ukraine and in the neighboring districts of Russia. I want to inform you that we are aware of the places of deployment of 195 training camps, 54 of which are located on the territory of Russia, mainly Rostov region, 30 camps are located on the territory of Crimea, 53 on the territory of Luhansk region and 58 in Donetsk region," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on August 28.
According to him, these camps have narrow specializations.
"Some of them prepare only mechanics, drivers for armored combat vehicles, others prepare mortar gunners, and others are preparing snipers, and the rest are preparing sabotage and reconnaissance groups," Hrytsak said.
