Poroshenko puts July NSDC decision on urgent measures to neutralize threat to national security into force

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree on putting the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) "On urgent measures to neutralize a threat to national security" (with secret clearance) of July 20 into force.
The decree was signed on August 13. It comes into force on the day it's posted.
"To put in force the decision of the NSDC "On urgent measures to neutralize a threat to national security" (PFA, secret clearance). Control over execution of the NSDC decision put into actions with this order is to be entrusted to the Secretary of the NSDC," the decree said.
As reported, on July 20, when opening a meeting of the NSDC, Poroshenko said: "We must take urgent measures to prevent and neutralize threats to state security under the conditions of active foreign interference in Ukraine's internal affairs by the Russian aggressor, which realizes scenarios aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation by using criminal, ethnic and socio-economic factors."
According to Poroshenko, the armed clash in Mukacheve district (Zakarpattia region) is evidence of the necessity to change the personnel of and enhance state administrations, the Interior Ministry's territorial offices, the State Migration Service, the State Fiscal Service and the Security Service of Ukraine in the region.
