Turchynov: We don't trade territory with Russia

Secretary of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov has said he is vehemently opposed to any possibility of Ukraine recognizing Crimea as a part of Russia.

"We don’t trade territory. So we'll return Crimea [to Ukraine] and win 100 billion in court," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine when commenting on reports that Russia had allegedly offered to forgive a $100 billion debt, as well as giving a gas discount and financial stimuli, in exchange for Ukraine recognizing Crimea as Russian.

According to the reports, Russia is considering holding another referendum on the status of Crimea, but this time with OSCE monitoring.
