Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk are to visit EU countries on May 13 and May 14 to ensure the provision of support to Ukraine in the issues of observing Minsk agreements, Ukraine's EU integration and sanctions against Russia.

"On May 13 I will be in Berlin, and on May 13 Prime Minister Yatseniuk will be in Paris. On May 14 I will be in Aachen where the meeting of global leaders will be held. Our key task is to ensure the unity of the European Union with Ukraine," Poroshenko said on Monday during a visit to the Ukrainian Ground Forces Training Center Desna in Chernihiv region.

He said that during the visits information on the state of the fulfillment of Minsk agreement, what is going on in the antiterrorist operation (ATO) zone and how Ukraine strictly observes all liabilities under Minsk agreements will be brought to European partners.

"The world should know what provocations are made against Ukraine," he said.

He said that Ukraine will plan its tactic, taking into account the coming international events, particularly, the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga on May 21, for which a declaration is being drafted on Ukraine's EU prospects and visa-free travel, and a meeting of the Council of the European Union where the extension of sanctions against Russia will be discussed.

"Our positions here should be active. Coordination of the efforts is vitally important for us," Poroshenko said.
