Turchynov vows to uncover Kalashnikov, Buzyna murders soon

The murders of journalist Oles Buzyna and former Party of Regions MP Oleh Kalashnikov were organized by the enemies of Ukraine to bring it into disrepute internationally, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov has said.
"The security forces of Ukraine were instructed not just to reveal, but as promptly as possible to uncover these crimes. Irrespective of who committed them and who organized them, as these crimes are meant [to be] against Ukraine, to compromise it on the world stage, to spread fear inside our country," he said in an interview on Channel Five TV on Wednesday evening.
He said that both murders "have traces of contract-style killings."
"We should think at once who might benefit from these crimes? Certainly, the enemies of Ukraine. Because they [Buzyna and Kalashnikov] didn't influence serious processes which occur in the country. These were executors of the strategy against our country, which has been drawn up by other people. And their murder first of all is beneficial for those who work against our country," he said.
Turchynov added that law enforcement agents will report on the uncovering of these cases in the near future.
