One killed, two injured in night shootout in Odesa hospital - police

A shootout occurred on the territory of a municipal clinical hospital in Odesa in the early hours of Wednesday, as the result of which one person was killed and two wounded, the public relations department of the Interior Ministry's branch in Odesa region reported.

"At 01.20 on April 8, the police received a phone call from City Clinical Hospital No 1 about the shooting on the territory of the medical institution committed by a group of unknown persons. One person was killed and two were injured as the result," the statement reads.

The attackers reportedly fled in a dark color BMW.

The police have started an operation to apprehend the criminals.
