Poroshenko has left for Minsk – press secretary

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko left for Minsk, Belarus on Wednesday to participate in the "Normandy format" talks, his press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko has said.

The head of state will arrive in Minsk after 17:00 Kyiv time.

Upon arrival Poroshenko will participate in talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Immediately after Minsk, Poroshenko will fly to Brussels, to attend an EU summit on the situation in Ukraine.
