Ukraine continuing to observe 'silence regime' in Donbas - National Security and Defense Council

The ceasefire regulations declared by the Ukrainian government forces on the morning of December 9 have been extended on Wednesday as well, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said.
"As this regime has been supported, and we are seeing that the number of fire attacks has declined dramatically, […] we continue to maintain the silence regime and hope that the number of fire attacks will continue to decline radically and will eventually be reduced to zero," he said.
"At least the day of silence has shown that the parties are accommodating each other. It is notable that the Ukrainian side is displaying exemplary observance of its commitments," he said.
Lysenko had said earlier that, after the "day of silence" had been declared, the Ukrainian government forces recorded over ten fire attacks by their opponents.
