No losses among Ukrainian servicemen on 'day of silence' - NSDC

No Ukrainian serviceman has been killed or injured as a result of militant shelling in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours when the anti-terrorist operation forces observed the ceasefire, the spokesman for the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andriy Lysenko, has said.
"The silence regime has brought the first positive results – over the past 24 hours Ukrainian servicemen have not been killed or injured for the first time," he said at a briefing on Wednesday.
He said that 16 attacks on Ukrainian positions had been recorded over the past 24 hours and that they were seen as provocations.
"The anti-terrorist operation forces showed restraint and did not yield to provocations," Lysenko said.
At the same time, seven cases of aerial reconnaissance were reported, he said.
In addition, Lysenko said, seven civilians have been injured in the past 24 hours.
