NSDC: Three Ukrainian soldiers wounded in past 24 hours

Three Ukrainian servicemen were injured in the east over the past day, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Information and Analytical Center Speaker Andriy Lysenko has said.
At a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, he said that the militants have been attacking Ukrainian positions using rocket, tube artillery and sniper rifles. "The purpose of their actions is to force the Ukrainian servicemen to abandon their positions. The ATO forces return fire of the terrorists or open fire when there is a direct threat to their lives," Lysenko said.
According to Lysenko, militants were mostly active in Luhansk region. Ukrainian roadblocks near the village of Krymske were twice put under Grad rocket launcher fire on November 3 and a Ukrainian stronghold was shelled near the town of Horske in the Popasna district, he said.
The Ukrainian servicemen repelled an enemy attack using tanks and infantry units near the village of Ozeryanivka, in the vicinity of Horlivka, he said. "The terrorists suffered losses and retreated," Lysenko alleged.
He also said that the terorists had conducted four mortar, grenade launcher and firearm attacks on the Donetsk airport.
