Over 100 Ukrainian military encircled near Bakhmutka – Luhansk region governor

On October 14 Ukrainian soldiers and terrorists were continuously fighting near Bakhmutka highway (Luhansk region), head of Luhansk regional state administration Hennadiy Moskal has said.
"Our positions were shelled by the militants of the so-called 32nd unit of Army of the Don Cossack under leadership of Dremov, who made a trench in the forest and have nearly 20 tanks in their disposal, and two dozens of other armed vehicles," reads a report on Moskal Web site on Wednesday.
He said that at 1045 a.m. on Tuesday there was an armed clash between the 24th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which moved to help the 32nd security post t of the National Guard, with the militants. "Our army lost armored vehicles," he said.
From 2000 to 2030 p.m. the militants shelled with the mortars a base station of the 128th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Chornukhine of Popasniansky region. At 2130 p.m. there was one more attack. Ukrainian servicemen sustained no losses.
After midnight the check post of the Ukrainian Army in the village of Zolote of Popasniansky region was also fired. One military man was injured.
After 0200 a.m. the militants shelled and then encircled around 31st and 32nd security posts of the National Guard near Bakhmutka.
Today there is no a reliable information about the situation near Bakhmutka so far, except that 112 military of Ukrainian army and National Guard now are surrounded. A number of wounded and shell-shocked servicemen were taken prisoners, one of them is battalion commander, Moskal said.
He aid that all attempts of OSCE representatives to deal on ceasefire with the leadership of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic were in vain. The militants of the so-called Don Army do not listen to LNR.
