The International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine has reported the death of its employee in Donetsk.
"One of our office staff members has been killed as a result of a shelling in Donetsk today. We are working to notify his family about the tragic incident," an ICRC spokesperson told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday evening.
The spokesperson would not name the victim, saying only that he was not Ukrainian.
"One of our colleagues in Donetsk Ukraine was killed when a shell hit close to our office. We're deeply distressed by this loss," ICRC wrote on Twitter.
