Donetsk sees hostilities overnight, gunfire subsides this morning - City Council

The overnight hostilities in Donetsk damaged the Shvernyka transformer substation in the Kuibyshevsky district and cut off power supplies to 80 more substations, the Donetsk City Council said in a report posted on its website on Wednesday.
"A shell hit a four-apartment home at 25 Menzhynska Street in the Kyivsky district at about 2:30 a.m. Two apartments were razed to the ground," it said.
All was quiet in Donetsk at 1000. Public utility services and repair teams are cleaning up the aftermath of last night's hurricane. Fallen trees disrupted public transportation and damaged gas networks in practically every district of the city.
Donetskmiskgaz company workers are repairing gas distribution stations and networks in private residencies. Gas supply may be erratic in the period of repairs.
