Shots heard in almost all Donetsk districts at night - authorities

Explosions were heard in Donetsk overnight into Tuesday, however the situation in the city was calm as of 0900, the city council press office said in a statement on Tuesday.
"According to the reports of residents, shots were heard in almost all districts and explosions - in the Kalininsky district," the document said.
All vital systems of the regional center operate in orderly fashion and disruptions in food supplies do not exist, the mayor's office said.
Block posts of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic supporters are set up at all entries to the city and people wearing camouflage and armed with machine guns can still be observed in central Donetsk, the Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
Donetsk transport system operates in orderly fashion in all nine districts of the city and meets passengers' needs.
