Russia redeploys military equipment, servicemen to Ukrainian borders – Parubiy

National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Parubiy has said that a significant amount of military equipment and soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces have been deployed close to the territories that border with Ukraine, and that they are prepared to act at any moment.
"In just the last twenty-four hours, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin's saying there had been a withdrawal of Russian troops from our eastern border, we have the information that on June 15 the Russian armed forces redeployed close to the borders of Ukraine some subdivisions of the 76th Pskov Guards Air Assault Division, and also redeployed personnel using four Il-76 military transport aircraft – about 150 servicemen and equipment of the 76th Air Assault Division at airdrome Millerovo, which is 20 kilometers from the border with Ukraine," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
Besides, the secretary said that a task force battalion of coastal troops of the Russian Northern Fleet had been deployed near the border.
According to Parubiy, the number of servicement of the Russian Armed Forces, "that are ready at any time to switch to taking more active and aggressive actions", concentrated near state border of Ukraine on Russian territory amounts 16,000 servicemen, up to 22,000 military men on the territory of Crimea, and up to 3,500 people on the territory of the Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic.
