Poroshenko, Putin discuss on phone former's peace plan to resolve situation in Ukraine's east

Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin, have discussed the peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine's east.
"During the conversation, the presidents discussed Poroshenko's peace plan to resolve the situation in Ukraine's east," the Ukrainian president's press service reported on Thursday.
In addition, the two presidents spoke about the steps, which should be taken to stop hostilities and address the situation peacefully.
At the same time, the Ukrainian president's press secretary, Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on his Facebook page: "During a telephone conversation, the president of Ukraine has called unacceptable the situation, when tanks are entering the territory of our country through the Ukrainian-Russian border."
