New Ukraine president should pay first foreign visit to Brussels - Yatseniuk

Ukraine's president to be elected as a result of the May 25 polls should pay his or her first international visit to Brussels, where the new Ukrainian head of state may sign a final agreement on the establishment of a free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"The result of these [presidential] elections will be the Ukrainian national, legitimate president, who ought to pay his or her first visit to Brussels, and a full-fledged free trade area with the EU should become the first document to be signed [by the new Ukrainian leader]," he said at a joint press briefing with European Council President Herman Van Rompuy in Kyiv on Monday.
