National Guard's first battalion composed of Maidan volunteers depart to frontline – NSDC Secretary

The first battalion of the National Guard, which has been formed from the volunteers of the Maidan self-defense, has been departed for the front line, Secretary of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy reported.

"The soldiers have a high fighting spirit and readiness to protect Ukraine. It is hard there. I know that: just recently I came back from Luhansk, where I was for the whole week. But I'm sure that we'll win because God and Ukraine are with us," he said on his page in Facebook on Tuesday morning. He also posted some photos of the soldiers.
