Tombinski hails Automaidan's commitment to Ukraine's European integration

EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski discussed the activity of Euromaidan at a meeting with its activists on Wednesday, in particular, problems that they are facing from the Ukrainian authorities.
"Automaidan representatives informed the EU Delegation about their current activities as well as the problems they and their civic movement are now facing from the authorities. Again, it was stated that the principle of selective use of justice is being applied," reads a statement posted on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation to Ukraine on Wednesday.
Tombinski thanked the activists for their civic position and welcomed their commitment to Ukraine's European integration.
He also added that he was pleased to see that the European approach that "it is the individual citizen who should be always in the focus of public policies" is also actively promoted by Automaidan in Ukraine.
Tombinski, surrounded by Automaidan activists Oleksiy Hrytsenko, painter Serhiy Poyarkov, Dmytro Bulatov, Serhiy Khadzhynov and Andriy Telizhenko, can be seen in a photo posted on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation.
