Nuland tells Yanukovych last night's events in Kyiv unacceptable in democratic society

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland has said that the methods used last night to disperse pro-EU protesters in the center of Kyiv are unacceptable in a modern, democratic, European society.
"I completely clearly told the Ukrainian president that what happened tonight in the context of security measures is absolutely unacceptable in a modern, democratic society and state," she told journalists on Wednesday after meeting with President Viktor Yanukovych.
