Eight police officers near Lenin monument injured, some severely – city police
Eight law enforcement officers have been injured as a result of a clash between police and protestors near the monument to Vladimir Lenin downtown Kyiv, the Kyiv police's main department reported.
"Eight officers have been injured in a clash near the monument. Some of them are in serious condition, with burns and bone fractures," the department's press service said.
Yet, the press service said that there had been no detained after the clash.
