Association Agreement won't be signed without Tymoshenko issue settlement – Grybauskaite

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite has said that the EU will not sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine if the problem of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko remains unsettled.
A posting on Tymoshenko's Web site reads that Grybauskaite said this in an interview with AFP.
"If the law that solves the Tymoshenko issue is not adopted, EU member states will definitely not sign an agreement with Ukraine," she said.
The Lithuanian president noted that on November 19 the Ukrainian government was warned against all risks in case the Association Agreement is not signed at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.
"There are no guarantees that it could be signed after a year or two. The pause in relations may take a very long period of time," she said.
