Yanukovych calling on Ukrainians go to polling stations and vote for their future

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has urged his countrymen to go to polling stations and vote for their future.
"The elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be held on Sunday, October 28. This is an important stage in the development of our state. This is the day when the Ukrainian people will make a choice that will determine the future of the country for the next five years. This is why every voter should show their active citizenship, to come to a polling station and vote," the president said in a statement on the eve of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada, which was posted on the official Web site of the head of state on Friday.
