The Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), and the Razumkov Centre will present results of national exit poll on the day of the parliamentary elections on October 28 at 2000 after the polling stations close.

"These will be two parallel exit polls, I mean KIIS and the Razumkov Centre will work simultaneously each with its random groups. Each of them will work at 200 polling stations, and if the results differ significantly, then each of them will present them on their own," Director of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation Iryna Bekeshkina said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

According to her, the project will be funded from several sources. According to a press release, which was distributed to journalists at the press conference, the survey will be conducted with financial assistance of the International Renaissance Foundation, the Matra Program of the Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine, the National Endowment for Democracy (the U.S.), PACT, the Ukraine National Initiatives to Enhance Reforms (UNITER) project, and the European Union.

According to Bekeshkina, a supervisory board of the survey will control the project implementation process, and international experts will consult Ukrainian sociologists.

The poll will be conducted at 400 polling stations via a secret vote. Around 17,000 people will be polled.

The poll's error margin will not exceed 1.3%.

Considering experience of previous exit polls, the organizers expect that the error margin for leading parties will not exceed 2.5% and will remain within 0.5-1% for other parties and blocs.
