ICTV, Inter to present results of own exit poll on election day
Ukrainian TV channels ICTV and Inter will present results of the National Television Exit Poll, which they will hold jointly with the TNS research company and the Center for Social and Marketing Research SOCIS on October 28.
"We proposed to poll around 20,000 respondents at 614 polling stations. This means that the exit poll will be highly precise at the level of 0.5%, and it will touch not only the country in general, but also each region," Director of SOCIS Center Mykola Churylov said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
He said that representatives of the companies will poll voters near exits of polling stations so as not to disturb the election process.
ICTV Channel President Oleksandr Bohutsky added that results of the poll will be presented right after the closure of polling stations at 2000 on October 28 on ICTV and Inter.
In turn, Board Chairman of the Inter Channel Yaroslav Porokhniak said that such a survey is an important instrument for monitoring of the election process.
