Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) struck a fuel and lubricants storage facility Annanefteprodukt near the village of Anna in Russia's Voronezh region on Friday night, an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the source, the depot contained 20 tanks with fuel and lubricants. Enemy air defense worked actively but unsuccessfully near the facility.

Local residents and social media reported five drone strikes, after which a heavy fire broke out.

"In addition to active operations against Russian airfields, depots with missiles and guided aerial bombs, the SBU does not forget about oil depots on the enemy territory. They are an important logistical component of the war," the source said.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a strike on the oil depot in Voronezh region.

"The work of Russian air defenses was recorded in the vicinity of the facility. A strike against at least one of the vertical tanks has been confirmed. A fire broke out. The task was performed by forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with other units of the defense forces of Ukraine," it said.
