Modi, Zelenskyy meet in Kyiv, honor memory of children

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Kyiv and visited the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War together, The Times of India has reported.
"PM Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honor the memory of children at the Martyrologist Exposition in Kyiv," it said on Friday.
Zelenskyy and Modi honored the memory of the children whose lives were claimed by the Russian armed aggression.
"Together with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we honored the children whose lives were taken by Russian aggression. The children of every country deserve safety. We must make it possible," Zelenskyy said on the Telegram channel.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian head of state, the leaders laid the toys at the multimedia exposition "Children" in Kyiv and commemorated the Ukrainian children in the moment of silence.
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin told Zelenskyy and Modi the history of the exposition and Russian shelling of places where children are located, particularly the missile attack on Ukraine's largest children's hospital, Okhmatdyt.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 570 Ukrainian children were killed. However, this figure is inconclusive as long as no date on the temporarily occupied territories is available to the Ukrainian authorities. Due to constant Russian attacks, the number of victims is growing.
The multimedia project "Children" was created in June 2022 on the occasion of Day of Remembrance of Children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. It reflects the names and photos of young Ukrainians who were killed by the aggressor state.
