Russian occupation forces continue to put pressure on almost the entire front line, most actively on Pokrovsky and Toretsky axes, where since the beginning of the current day and as of 16:00, some 36 and 16 enemy attacks have been recorded, respectively, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) said.

"A total of 88 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day. The hottest situation is on Pokrovsky axis, the enemy is also active on Toretsky axis," the General Staff said on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

It is reported that in Toretsk axis, the occupiers have increased the number of attacks to 16 - they were advancing near Zalizne, New York, Toretsk and Pivnichne. Some 13 battles have been completed, three more are ongoing.

"In Pokrovsk axis, the Russians carried out assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Zhelanne, Serhiyivka, Panteleymonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Lysychne, Tymofiyivka, Karlivka and Kalynove. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught of the Russian forces and have repelled 19 attacks, 17 clashes are ongoing. The enemy's losses in this direction are being clarified," the General Staff said.

In Kharkiv axis, the Russians carried out seven attacks near Tykhe and Vovchansk, where two clashes are currently ongoing. In Kupiansk axis, the enemy stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces three times in the direction of Stepova Novoselivka, Kolesnykivka and Berestove. In Lyman axis, the army of the occupiers attacked seven times near Makiyivka, Novoserhiivka and Nevske. The defense forces repelled six enemy attacks, one is ongoing.

In Siversk axis, during the day, the enemy attacked twice near Verkhniokamianske and Ivano-Daryivka, where the battle is still ongoing.

In Kramatorsk axis, the Russian army carried out six assaults near Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske and Andriivka. The defense forces repelled half of the attacks, three more battles are ongoing.

In Kurakhiv axis, the invaders attacked five times near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Zhelanne and Paraskoviivka. Three battles are over, two are ongoing.

"In Vremivka axis, the enemy stormed the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Velyka Novosilka. He was defeated in four battles," the General Staff said.

In Dnipro axis, the Russians also had no success, twice attacking Ukrainian positions on the left bank of Dnipro.
