Due to conflicts 11 district commissions keep tabulating election results, says Interior Ministry

Conflicts between participants of the election process caused delays in the work of 11 district election commissions, the Public Liaisons Department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine has said.

The police specified that three district election commissions No. 211, 216, and 223 in Kyiv faced problems. Three more district elections commissions No. 194, 197, and 198 in Cherkasy region are also working in a strained regime. There are also delays in the work of district election commissions No. 21 in Volyn region, No. 11 in Vinnytsia region, No. 99 in Kirovohrad region, No. 132 in Mykolaiv region, and No. 94 in Kyiv region.

In particular, members of the central election commission N. 223 in Kyiv have been processing vote count protocols since 0230 on November 2 in the building of the commission. Around 100 representatives of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union have been outside the building of the district election commission No. 223 since 0900 on Thursday, and some 40 people are still there on Friday. The police have prevented possible violations of public order, the Interior Ministry said.

Meanwhile, supporters of various political forces have put up agitation tents near the buildings of several district elections commissions. The police keep guarding public order by preventing scuffles between participants of the election process.
