Ferrexpo Plc with assets in Ukraine opposes the transfer of ports to concession, but the company backs the privatization of ports.

"We are against the concession, but we suppot privatization - this is the most profitable option, which will bring the greatest benefit to Ukraine," Head-Investor Relations & Corporate Communications at Ferrexpo Plc Ingrid McMahon said on Tuesday, answering a question from the Interfax-Ukraine.

She also said that the company is involved in negotiations on the liberalization of river navigation.

In addition, the company monitors privatization processes in Ukraine. At the same time, as the representative of Ferrexpo said, investments in this or that project depend on the prices of premium segment pellets, which the company sells.

Ferrexpo is a Swiss headquartered iron ore company with assets in Ukraine. It mines, processes and sells high quality iron ore pellets to the global steel industry.
